As a major corporate group in Upper Austria we also have a social responsibility to bear, and we therefore support sports, cultural, educational of social events.

Energie AG is committed to supporting Austrian top, as well as young sports champions. Hannes Trinkl, the downhill-skiing world champion, and the rowing world champion team (lightweight four) are the best-known sports champions. The company supports cultural events such as "Kunst im Kraftwerk" (Art at the Power Station) at Riedersbach and sponsors the "Trierenberg Super Circuit", one of the most renowned international photography competitions. In the social field, Energie AG set new standards by building a low-energy house for children and youngsters at the SOS Kinderdorf Altmünster.
